This is a beautiful peignoir designed by Al Sterling for Lisette. It is done, poet style, in sheer pink flowing chiffon. The puffy sleeves are double layers of sheer chiffon and are gathered giving them a ruffle at the bottom of each sleeve. The bodice has, what I call, a yoke trimmed with a sheer ruffle and 4 pink rose buds, two on each side. The peignoir is gathered at the yoke and is full cut and flowing. There is a self-fabic tie at the neck and one button & loop closure at the yoke. No stains or tears, only one teeny tiny pinhole in the chiffon, mentioned for accuracy as it does not detract from the beauty of the peignoir. They just don’t make them like this anymore, it’s a great vintage piece.
